      Kundalini Yoga Class

Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan is transformative, ancient art and science, which is perfect for dealing with the challenges of modern life. It is said to be yoga practice of house holders and yoga of awarness. Whilst using: *breathing techniques called pranayama, *specifically designed sets of dynamic postures/excersices named Kriyas, *meditation - jaap and *sound technology in form of mantras, as well as *hands gestures that awaken the creative/healing energy flow called mudras, kundalini yoga works to strengthen the central nervous system, the immune system and the endocrine system, builds stroger musculature and helps correct the posture. This brings the body back into balance and releases tensions, stresses and unhelpful patterns. It works fast and helps you feel strong in body and mind. It doesn't require experience or flexibility and can be adapted to meet the needs of anyone. The main purpose for practicing Kundalini Yoga is to open the heart centre of humanity in every individual and conquer egoistic mind, which is the source of all of our "problems"/illusions. All participants are welcome, including complete beginners. Come along and give it a go. Bring some water, yoga mat, any necessary preps and wear comfortable clothing. Some people wear white and cover their hair to enhance the power of infinite energy of your own soul that we evoke during the practice, but it is not a requirement. You may also want to bring a blanket to keep yourself warm during relaxation session, before the culmination of the class: the meditation.
